The historic Tap Room pays tribute to its predecessor from the 1930s, opened just after the end of Prohibition. Our drinks menu includes traditional and modern handcrafted cocktails with bold flavors and fresh ingredients. Order a “Sammy the Diver” from our signature cocktail list and we will donate 15% of the proceeds from all sales through Labor Day to Pasadena Humane.
Since 1903 Pasadena Humane has served the Greater Los Angeles area as a community-supported animal resource center providing shelter, adoptions, veterinary care, wildlife rehabilitation, and pet support services. We are especially grateful for their continuing care and contributions for animals in need in the aftermath of the Eaton Fire.

When The Huntington Hotel opened in 1914, it was the social center of a fast-growing Pasadena, hosting live music, dancing, and dinners nightly in the ballroom.

Through the 20s and even through the Depression, the hotel managed to flourish as East Coasters and Hollywood elite gathered to socialize and be entertained. The Tap Room pays homage to the hotel’s post-Prohibition bar, opened in 1933 during a legacy decade for the hotel in which the Picture Bridge was completed and guests like Jean Harlow, Eastman Kodak and Prince Erik of Denmark frequented the resort.

Since that winning formula of perfectly-made classic cocktails, delightfully-inventive bar bites, and the smooth sounds of a tinkling piano never goes out of style, we are proud to continue The Tap Room’s tradition of being Pasadena’s very own “living room.”
